Compiling problems 2

Hello again,

When I couldn't get the portland compiler to work I tried g77. However,
I get exactly the same problems as encountered by Jyh-Shyong Ho
(c00jsh00 at nchc.gov.tw Fri, 16 Nov 2001 10:05:33 on the list) in that the
final linking doesn't work. On my running of configure I was given the
options suggested by Jacek Klos:

FC="g77 -malign-double -fno-second-underscore -fno-globals -Wno-globals 
-w"
F90="g77 -malign-double -fno-second-underscore -fno-globals -Wno-globals 
-w"
# compiler command to be used only when linking molpro.exe .. eg mpxlf
on 
IBM SP
LINKFC="g77 -malign-double -fno-second-underscore -fno-globals 
-Wno-globals -w"   

in my CONFIG file but I still experience the same problem.  Did
Jyh-Shong Ho manage to get his build to work. Does anybody know what the
correct compiler options for 'recent g77 verions for which the molpro
build is broken' should be ?
