I compiled molpro-2002.1 on Linux-2.4 (RedHat-7.1 + relevant updates)
using the Intel compiler. Running the testsuite gives an error for
h2o_restart.
I could not find anything related in a web-search nor in the molpro
mailing list archive/bugtracker.
The system in question has 512 MB main memory and 1GB swap space. The
molpro.rc file contains a line '-m60m'. Nevertheless molpro gives the
following error message, apparently not able to allocate ~58 MW of
memory.
,----
| Modules: doc
| ********************************************************************
| Failure in attempting memory allocation of 60230002 words (459 Mbyte)
| This error has been generated by the operating system,
| and may be the result of insufficient system memory or paging space
| In order to avoid the problem in the MOLPRO context,
| consider also reducing the requested memory through
| the MEMORY input command, or the -m command line option
| gmainv1 failure to allocate 60230002

| ERROR EXIT

| EMERGENCY STOP

The program seems to run fine for the average calculation, even when
getting up to 60 MW RSS. Is this a known problem? Any hints are
appreciated.
Greetings,
Jochen
