Error after increasing mxrec

Dear Molpro users

I increased mxrec from 200 to 500 (I also tried 255) in common/tapes.
Unfortunately after I did this I receive the following error during the
integral calculation

 DATA RECORD  1000 NOT FOUND ON FILE 1

 ERROR EXIT

I checked the result of SUBROUTINE SUDAT in util/fileinfo.f and it seems
that irec is
always equal to zero.

Has anyone succeeded in increasing mxrec ?
