Error on make of ftconv.exe not finding -lf2c

Bill,
sorry Bill, I guess I gave some incorrect advice. With RedHat I think
you actually do need the -g77libs link option. This works fine on my
RedHat 7 cluster, but I removed it without incident on our SuSe Opteron
cluster. Certainly someone else on the list is running RedHat 8 ?
