[molpro-user] strange error

Hello molpro users
I've got a very strange error, when upgrading molpro 2006 to 2008. 
Currently I'm using 2008.1 patchlevel 42, compiled with pathf90 and 
pathcc, together with the recent GA 4.2. The compilation flags are -i8 
-x86_64 -Linux. Everything compiles with no errors.

When I try to run some job, I get the error
" ERROR: TOO MANY CHARACTERS IN STRING VARIABLES. THIS VERSION ALLOWS 
*****"
whatever the examples I run.

Does any body got such strange error?
